Thank you for the inspiring words, and sharing your struggle to give more and receive more and keep aspiring to make things better.
‘Start dreaming for the world” – sweetest words ever! As a little girl growing up in South Africa I envisioned being a movie star who made a difference in the whole world. As a teen and young adult this translated into everything I did. Teaching and speaking in church to my peers and later to women and teen girls, I always saw the next bigger, bolder step.
It didn’t take long for those around me to shoo me down. “Live here within your circle, can’t this be enough. Why go here and there, stop being so dissatisfied ..”. I got to question myself and tried to stop this yearning in my heart. Slowly part of me got buried, with sad consequences.
I healed, expanded as a person and chose to find my purpose and live it! What a journey! One of courage, strength and happiness!
Having relocated to the USA, getting divorced and wondering where I belong with this that I am – These words, ‘Start dreaming for the world” – I have found my home and my place.
Thank you Marcia and Kathy.
